Job summary

FDJ UNITED is seeking a skilled Java back-end developer for its Payment team in a fast-paced, innovative setting. You will design and implement services using Java and Spring, contribute to the full lifecycle, and help deliver secure, reliable payment experiences across brands.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience, familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Gradle, Maven and RPM, plus Docker and Kubernetes. Join a team that embraces AI-assisted tooling and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience building services using Java and the Spring Framework.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and build pipelines
• Familiarity with development and delivery tools such as Git, Gradle, Maven and RPM
• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application development and deployment
• Experience working in agile environments
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• Ability to identify bugs, edge cases, and potential security, reliability or performance issues
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools and validating their output

Responsibilities

• You will participate in design discussions with colleagues to find great solutions to complex engineering challenges.
• Contribute to the full system lifecycle to ensure reliability and uptime of production environments.
• Collaborate in design, development, testing and operations to deliver quality software.
• Identify and fix bugs, edge cases and performance issues as part of a fast-paced team.
