You will develop backend services, manage cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, monitor production systems, and work across development and operations in a hybrid 50% remote setup.

Formación

• Strong hands-on experience in Java software development.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Good understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
• Experience with containers and cloud-native technologies.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools and practices.
• Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and production issues.
• Experience with automation and scripting.
• Familiarity with Git and modern software development practices.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, deploy, and operate cloud-based services.
• Contribute to backend development, cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, production monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous service improvement.
• This is an ideal role for a Java Developer who also enjoys DevOps and operational responsibilities.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services and supporting components using Java.
• Work with Azure cloud services and cloud-native application environments.
• Participate actively in operating production services, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, including investigating and resolving incidents.
• Improve observability through logging, metrics, monitoring, and alerting.
• Automate operational tasks and improve deployment workflows and processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive actions to reduce recurring incidents.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to improve service quality.
• Take end-to-end ownership of technical problems and drive them through to resolution.
• Contribute to consistent operational processes and continuous improvement across the engineering organisation.
