Schibsted is seeking an IT Security Engineer to strengthen security across infrastructure, systems and devices. You will work with a cybersecurity team across Sweden and Norway, including responsibilities from risk assessment to threat response.

Qualifikationen

• At least three years in IT security roles with hands-on implementation of security controls and technologies.
• Strong grounding in endpoint, network and/or infrastructure security.
• Practical experience using SIEM, DLP and vulnerability scanners.
• Good understanding of networking protocols, operating systems and cloud platforms; ability to troubleshoot security issues.
• Analytical approach to problem solving and ability to prioritise when several tasks demand attention.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical colleagues.

Aufgaben

• Assess existing security controls, identify improvements, and implement risk-reduction measures.
• Improve, deploy, and maintain security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
• Monitor network traffic and security logs; investigate threats and respond to incidents.
• Carry out security audits and assessments to identify weaknesses in systems and networks.
• Define security procedures for working with vendors and third-party providers.
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
