Job summary

Cambio Healthcare Systems AB in Sweden is seeking a proactive Security Engineer to join our Security Operations team. You will work hands-on with modern security platforms to identify, detect and respond to threats, strengthening our security posture across the organization and for customers.

You will collaborate closely with IT Operations and Internal IT, balancing operational work with driving improvements, and you will have opportunities to grow into specialized security domains as the team

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience within Security Operations or a similar security-focused operational role.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise security platforms in on-premises and cloud/container environments.
• Experience with incident response, vulnerability management and compliance.
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies, such as vulnerability scanning and e-mail security solutions.
• Understanding of network security, identity and access management and threat modeling.
• Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English
• CEH, CISSP or equivalent security certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Zero Trust architecture and conditional access policies.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, CIS, MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Experience with Security Log Management platforms.

The position

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Security Engineer to join our growing Security Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of strengthening our security capabilities and shaping how security is integrated across the organization. In this role, you will work hands-on with modern security platforms to identify, detect, and respond to threats, while continuously improving our overall security posture.

The scope of the role is broad, focusing on security across the entire organization, both in terms of our internal environment and in how we support and secure our solutions for customers. You will act as both an operational expert and a trusted advisor, collaborating closely with IT Operations and Internal IT and other internal stakeholders.

This is a role for someone who enjoys combining operational work with driving improvements, setting direction, and collaborating across the organization. Over time, there are great opportunities to grow and specialize within specific security domains as the team continues to expand.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience within Security Operations or a similar security-focused operational role.

• Hands-on experience with enterprise security platforms in both on-premises and cloud/container environments.

• Experience with incident response, vulnerability management and compliance.

• Proficiency in security tools and technologies, such as vulnerability scanning and e-mail security solutions.

• Understanding of network security, identity and access management and threat modeling.

It\'s a bonus if you have

• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP, or equivalent security certifications) are a plus.

• Experience with Zero Trust architecture and conditional access policies.

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, CIS, MITRE ATT&CK framework).

• Experience with Security Log Management platforms.

Additional information:

Place of employment: Linköping or Stockholm

Scope: Full-time, hybrid work model (three days per week in-office)

Form of employment: Permanent employment, 6 months trial period
