We are looking for an IT / OT Security Consultant to join us at Telia Cygate.

Hi, I'm Dennis Bergman Karlsson, the leader of our security consulting team in the Mid Region. Our offices are in Norrköping, Jönköping, and Växjö.

Right now, we're growing and looking for a curious, engaged, experienced IT / OT Security Consultant. You will sharpen your skills and be part of a team focused on technical excellence and development.

What you'll do:

As a Security Consultant, you'll work closely with your colleagues on various customer projects. Your work will range from implementation projects - where you'll dive deep into modern IT security solutions - to taking technical ownership of solutions and acting as a senior point of contact in customer engagements. We help customers secure their IT environments, operate and maintain solutions, improve, and future‑prove them in line with modern enterprise and hybrid IT needs. Projects span multiple service areas, meaning you will collaborate with experts in networking, security, and Hybrid IT, giving you depth and broad competence—from network and security operations to cloud, automation, virtualization, and data centers. If you want to get certified in new areas, we will support you.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with solutions from, for example, Microsoft, Cisco, Check Point, and Fortinet.
• A few years of hands‑on experience working with IT security in enterprise environments and comfortable operating at a senior or expert level.
• A strong IT security foundation and an interest in OT contexts, with the ability and willingness to develop your skills in this area when needed.
• Experienced in complex IT environments with high requirements for security, availability, and performance.
• Experience in design, implementation, and troubleshooting of security solutions in both on‑premises and hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience in network segmentation, asset management, secure remote access, and SD‑WAN is considered meriting.
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in Swedish (native or near‑native) and good English.
