Qualifications

  • Multiple years of experience in a technical and service-minded environment.

  • Knowledge of IT security principles and governance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide L1 and L2 technical support to internal users, resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Install, configure, and lifecycle-manage OS, apps, and workplace devices.
  • Manage user accounts and access rights in line with security requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of systems, incidents, and procedures.

The IT Operations Specialist ensures the reliability, availability, and security of IT services across the organization’s office and manufacturing environments, supporting business continuity, operational excellence, and production stability.

The role combines operational support, infrastructure administration, and lifecycle management. Working closely with business stakeholders, production teams, and other IT functions, the IT Operations Specialist maintains and improves IT services and helps ensure employees have reliable technology and access to the systems they need to perform their work.

As part of the global IT Operations team, the role supports workplace technology in office and manufacturing areas, identity and access management, endpoint management, and local infrastructure services while contributing to operational projects, site initiatives, and production ramp-up activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-User Technical Support: Provide L1 and L2 technical support to internal users. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and workplace technology issues while identifying recurring problems and opportunities for service improvement. Support business continuity and production operations by minimizing service disruptions and ensuring users have reliable tools and systems required to perform their work effectively.
  • Equipment Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, maintain and lifecycle-manage operating systems, applications, endpoint devices, and workplace technology including printers, meeting room equipment, and mobile devices. Support manufacturing-related IT equipment such as shared workstations, scanners, and label printers, ensuring operational reliability.
  • Access Management & Administration: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with established security and governance requirements. Support onboarding, offboarding, and organizational changes through provisioning and recovery processes.
  • Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain accurate documentation of systems, processes, incidents, and operational procedures. Contribute to knowledge sharing, standardization, and automation.
  • Compliance & Security: Proactively identify, assess, and elevate risks that could impact business operations, manufacturing continuity, or information security, while ensuring adherence to established security practices throughout the organization
Requirements

Educational background and previous experience required for the role.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Multiple years of experience working in a technical and service-minded environment
  • Experience supporting users, devices and IT services in a corporate or enterprise environment
  • Experience with ITSM processes and tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JSM)
  • Hands‑on experience working in M365
  • Technologies and services.
  • Experience participating in IT projects, technology deployments, or operational improvement initiatives is considered an advantage.
Specific Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android
  • Good knowledge of M365, Entra ID, endpoint management
  • Experience or interest in automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell) to improve operational efficiency, standardization, and service quality
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Understanding of IT security principles and compliance requirements
  • Understanding of manufacturing, industrial, or operational environments is considered an advantage.
