Lovable is seeking an IT Engineer to automate its IT operations end-to-end using AI agents, supporting 250+ Lovables. With 5+ years in IT engineering at high-growth tech, you’ll master identity, MDM, and zero-trust security, and ship real code in Python, TypeScript, or Go as production automations.

Qualifications

5+ years in IT engineering at high-growth tech company.
Fluent with identity, MDM, SaaS lifecycle, and zero-trust networking.
You write real code in Python, TypeScript, or Go and ship automations as production systems.
Hands-on experience securing AI agents and LLM tooling and know where humans stay in the loop.
Bias toward eliminating work; success measured by tickets never opened.

Responsibilities

Optimise all aspects of Lovable's IT stack: identity, devices, SaaS, networking, access reviews.
Build AI agents that resolve tier-1 and tier-2 IT requests automatically (onboarding, access, lost devices, app provisioning).
Administer and optimise the AI toolstack, collaborating with product on feedback and iterations.
Build and maintain internal self-serve IT tooling.
Replace runbooks with automated workflows and self-serve tooling loved by the team.
Configure integrations and templates to lower thresholds for AI-native work and faster onboarding.
Set the bar for a modern, AI-native IT function and write the industry playbook.
Oversee DNS records, domain strategy and email deliverability.

TL;DR We're looking for an IT Engineer who treats every manual ticket as a bug. You'll automate the company's IT operations end-to-end with AI agents, so 250+ Lovables can move at terminal velocity.

What we're looking for

5+ years in IT engineering, corporate engineering, or platform IT at a high-growth tech company.
Fluent with identity, MDM, SaaS lifecycle, and zero-trust networking (Okta/Entra, Jamf/Intune/Kandji, Tailscale/Cloudflare, Google Workspace).
You write real code - Python, TypeScript, or Go - and ship automations as production systems, not scripts.
Hands-on experience securing AI agents and LLM tooling (Lovable, Claude, function-calling, MCP, internal copilots) and a clear point of view on where humans should stay in the loop.
Bias toward eliminating work over optimising it. You measure success in tickets that never need to be opened.
Bonus: experience building internal developer/employee portals, or running IT for a fast-scaling org through 10x growth.

What you'll do

Optimise all aspects of Lovable's IT stack: identity, devices, SaaS, networking, and access reviews.
Build AI agents that resolve tier-1 and tier-2 IT requests automatically - onboarding, access, lost devices, app provisioning.
Administer and optimise our diverse AI toolstack, including Lovable itself, working closely with the product team on feedback and iterations
Build and maintain internal self-serve IT tooling
Replace runbooks with automated workflows and self-serve tooling our team actually loves using.
Configure integrations , build templates and default tooling that lowers thresholds for people to work AI-natively and speed up onboarding and processes.
Set the bar for how a modern, AI-native IT function looks - and write the playbook the rest of the industry will copy.
