Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5–8 years in automotive interior design, has strong CAD skills and knowledge of GD&T,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5-8 years automotive product engineering experience in interior trim systems.
• Extensive experience in CATIA V5 and Team Centre (Tce).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of interior trim regulations, plastics injection and moulding processes.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design interior floor components and compartment trim.
• Create 3D CATIA models and 2D drawings (CATIA V5) and BOMs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and supply chain for producibility.
• Select materials for durability, aesthetics and cost.
• Optimize designs for packaging, weight, and cost; support validation tests.
• Lead design reviews with cross-functional teams; ensure regulatory compliance.
