Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking an Innovation Process Manager to join its CTO organization in Europe. You will drive continuous improvement of product development processes, embed sustainability requirements, and align multiple Product Units.

You will partner with R&D, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Compliance to deliver governance and training that elevates our innovation capabilities. You will enable sustainable development by integrating EcoDesign principles, carbon reduction

Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in product development, engineering, or technical environments with sustainability and process management focus.
Experience leading or coordinating projects, process improvements, or cross-functional activities in product development.
Experience working with multiple stakeholders across functions and locations.
Strong communication skills and experience conducting training sessions or stakeholder engagement activities.
Understanding of circularity, EcoDesign, lifecycle assessments (LCA), and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).
Knowledge of environmental directives and regulations such as REACH and RoHS.
Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Support and continuously improve our product development and innovation processes, driving adoption of common ways of working across Product Units and ensuring governance.
Lead process improvement initiatives by facilitating collaboration, developing templates and governance frameworks, and guiding teams through training and workshops.
Enable sustainable product development by integrating sustainability requirements and objectives into the innovation process (carbon footprint, EcoDesign, materials compliance, circularity).
Coordinate product sustainability reporting activities including KPIs and Scope 3 data collection, validation and reporting with stakeholders.
Maintain and improve tools supporting innovation processes (Jira and Confluence) and ensure efficient information management.
Collaborate with stakeholders across R&D, Product Management, Supply Chain, Product Compliance, and Corporate Sustainability to drive alignment and adoption of new processes.
