Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join the IT & OT team within the Industrial Control System department. You will ensure cybersecurity requirements are embedded across project lifecycles, review specifications, and advise teams on security measures.

The role focuses on control systems, IT/OT integration, and secure solutions for energy sector customers. You will work with control engineers and IT/OT professionals to implement hardening, network segmentation, and secure

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Experience with Windows Server and domain-joined environments.
• Good networking knowledge including VLANs and segmentation.

Responsibilities

• Act as the cybersecurity engineer within ICC delivery projects, collaborating with control and IT/OT engineers.
• Implement and verify cybersecurity measures: hardening, segmentation, firewall and secure switch configurations, log forwarding.
• Review technical specifications and advise on cybersecurity requirements for delivered solutions.
• Participate in FAT and customer-witnessed FAT, demonstrating cybersecurity implementations.
• Support operation and maintenance of internal IT/OT environments and related infrastructure.
