Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a cybersecurity engineer to join the ICs delivery team, focusing on securing industrial control systems across project lifecycles. You will collaborate with control engineers and IT/OT professionals to translate cybersecurity requirements into practical solutions.

Responsibilities include system hardening, network segmentation, firewall configuration, log forwarding, and secure integration with Windows-based environments. Travel is not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• Experience from IT, OT, industrial cybersecurity, networking or a related technical field is relevant.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including system hardening, network segmentation, access control, logging and secure configuration.

Responsibilities

• Act as the cybersecurity engineer within ICs delivery projects, working closely with control engineers, IT/OT engineers and other departments.
• Implement and verify cybersecurity measures such as system hardening, network segmentation, firewall configuration, secure switch configuration and log forwarding.
• Work with Windows-based systems, including domain-joined clients and servers, and support secure integration with the surrounding IT/OT environment.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and customer-witnessed FAT, verifying cybersecurity implementations, demonstrating solutions and addressing technical customer questions.
