Job summary

ABB is seeking an engineer with 2 years of industry experience to design, develop and implement analog and digital circuits from concept phase to serial production.

You will create schematics, define PCB constraints, perform simulations, verify prototypes in the lab, and support handover to ABB factories. Travel internationally (~5%) may be required, and fluency in English is essential.

Strong collaboration with product management and suppliers is expected to ensure robust hardware solutions.

Qualifications

• Industry hardware development experience in embedded systems is required.
• Ability to design electronic circuits and circuit diagrams; experience with simulation tools.
• Experience with prototypes testing in a laboratory.
• Knowledge of EMС compatible design is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally (~5%).
• Fluency in English; Swedish language skills are beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement analog and digital circuits from concept phase to serial production.
• Coordinate with suppliers and other functions (e.g. product management & factory) for hardware development.
• Create schematics and define constraints for PCB layout.
• Define verification specifications and execute verification activities by simulation and prototype testing.
• Document and hand over developed technologies with implementation support to ABB's factories.
