Job summary

Ericsson in Stockholm, Sweden, is seeking an experienced telecom professional to operate, maintain, and develop an internal OTA test network for 5G and emerging 6G product verification. You will work in an operator-like environment, coordinating with engineers and site owners while handling radios, antennas, basebands, servers, fibre, and power infrastructure to ensure high-performance network operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with telecom operator or RAN field engineering and test-network operations.
• Knowledge of Ericsson RAN Portfolio and radio equipment.
• Hands-on experience with telecom OTA installations, fibre, cabling, and safety.
• Ability to read and maintain network documentation and plans.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and develop the OTA test network across rooftop sites.
• Install, integrate, modify, and troubleshoot radios, antennas, basebands, servers, and cabling.
• Carry out rooftop and mast activities, including antenna adjustments and radio replacements.
• Configure and maintain RAN nodes and user equipment, including prototype platforms.
• Plan and document network topology, fibre connectivity, and implementation activities.
• Support product verification and troubleshooting with engineers and development teams.
• Coordinate activities with laboratories, suppliers, and site owners.

You will work in an operator-like environment where your expertise will directly enable innovation, faster learning, and high-quality network performance.The network includes multiple antenna sites, radio nodes, basebands, servers, user equipment, fibre, power, and supporting infrastructure.
