Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires MSc in Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, Wireless communication or Computer Science.
• Good understanding of telecommunication / 3GPP 4G & 5G specs.
• Tester mindset in a technology-heavy development environment.
• Competence in Java/JCAT.

Responsibilities

Baseband software is a critical piece in Ericsson’s software stack. Baseband software at Ericsson is the software that runs the radio-access processing functions on Ericsson’s baseband hardware, including L1/PHY signal processing and related control.You will be part of a section that has Uplink PHY responsibility. Your team is responsible for “Baseband Performance Verification”. Baseband verification measures the UL-L1 efficiency, including HARQ and PC feedback for different propagation models and SNR or C/I. The team does test analysis, test design, test execution, troubleshooting and test result reporting of the physical layer software. Tests are done using signal generators and a Java environment. Your role in the team will be more passionate about Java test automation.
