Job summary

ISGR (The International School of the Gothenburg Region) seeks a qualified Science teacher for the IB Middle Years Programme to join our international team in Gothenburg. The position is 50% and fixed-term for the 2026-27 academic year, with school-holiday/annual-leave arrangement.

All instruction is in English. You will plan, implement, evaluate and develop pedagogical work in line with IB Standards and Practices, supporting students to access learning and grow within their individual potential.

Qualifications

• Requires degree and an international teaching license for ages 11-16.
• Teaching in English; IB MYP aligned.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Teach science to IB MYP in English.
• Plan, implement, evaluate and develop pedagogical work per IB Standards and Practices.
• Collaborate with international teaching team to support student development.
