Job summary

Koenigsegg is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Vehicle Systems team. You will design and develop robust automotive systems from concept to production, collaborating with Product, Powertrain, Optical and Electrical Design teams.

You will generate 3D models and drawings in CATIA V5/V6 or 3DEXPERIENCE, lead tests to verify requirements, and ensure smooth production introductions through PLM. English proficiency is required for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in vehicle system design.
• Proven experience with CATIA V5/V6 or 3DEXPERIENCE in automotive projects.
• Strong understanding of DFMEA and GD&T principles.
• Experience with PLM systems in a manufacturing context.
• Professional level English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical and electrical automotive systems for production.
• Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings in CATIA V5/V6 or 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Plan tests to verify component function and meet requirements.
• Support introduction of components into production and PLM workflow.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams across product, powertrain and electrical domains.
