Qualifications

• Masters in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years automotive/aerospace design experience.
• Strong assembly design, DFM and durability knowledge.
• 5+ years CAD in CATIA V5/V6 or 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Experience with FEA methods.
• GD&T design and application.
• Experience designing for modern manufacturing.
• Experience in top-tier automotive or motorsport.
• Hands-on car or racing experience.
• Material science knowledge (selection, treatments).
• Vehicle architecture and packaging.
• Previous leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop components and systems in R&D from concept to production.
• Create 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings using CATIA V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Design and facilitate tests to verify function and requirements.
• Perform data analysis for root cause and reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with suppliers and technology providers to meet targets.
• Work with Prototype during concept validation.
• Support introduction of components into production.
• Help create and enforce design standards.
