Qualifications

• 7+ years IT experience with hands-on Java backend development.
• Strong Java backend and Spring Boot experience, plus JMS and relational DBs.
• AWS experience including serverless technologies; Node.js familiarity a plus.
• Unix/Linux environment proficiency and TDD expertise.
• Experience in Agile teams and global collaboration; code reviews encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust Java backend applications and services.
• Develop cloud-based and serverless solutions on AWS.
• Work in DevOps and Agile environments throughout the lifecycle.
• Apply TDD to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with global team members and stakeholders.
• Improve scalability, performance and reliability of backends.
• Support continuous improvement of development, testing and deployment practices.
