Job summary

Polestar in Gothenburg is seeking a Range & Performance Data Analyst to join the Concepts & Simulation team within Engineering. The role focuses on data-driven analysis and advanced simulation to improve vehicle range and performance.

You will own data analysis for Polestar's Pandora tool, collaborate with CAE engineers and quality teams, and influence model-year upgrades and future programs through insights and validated results.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in vehicle performance, simulation, CAE or data analysis.
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems with analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink with scripting for automation.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop data analysis for Polestar's Pandora tool, including validation and result assessments.
• Analyze, interpret, and present simulation results to support range, performance, upgrades and programs.
• Collaborate with CAE engineers, quality teams, and other R&D stakeholders.
• Support homologation/testing through simulation, analysis and technical recommendations.
• Coordinate activities with internal/external stakeholders; lead investigations and task forces.
