Job summary

At Billerud, we are seeking a Data Platform / Power BI Developer to join our Global IT BI team. You will shape and evolve our analytics landscape, create scalable data solutions, and deliver dashboards, reports and semantic models in Power BI and Fabric across multiple locations in Sweden.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, cloud-enabled data architecture, AI-ready analytics, and continuous improvement in data governance and performance.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Several years of experience within Business Intelligence, Data Platform or Analytics development.
• Strong experience working with SQL and data modelling.
• Strong experience with Power BI
• Experience designing and delivering scalable data solutions in cloud environments.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data platform solutions and reporting capabilities.
• Build and optimize data models, data pipelines and integrations across business systems.
• Develop dashboards, reports and semantic models in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Support and improve existing BI solutions while ensuring performance, quality and governance.
• Contribute to initiatives within AI, sustainability reporting and advanced analytics.
• Explore and implement new technologies that strengthen our analytics capabilities.
