Job summary

IKEA Supply Data & Analytics is looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain our data infrastructure to support business needs and decision making. You will work in a modern, multi-cloud environment and partner with stakeholders to deliver data products that empower self-service analytics.

You should have 5+ years in data engineering, deep knowledge of SQL, Python and PySpark, and Databricks or Fabric certification.

Qualifications

5+ years experience designing, building, and operating data pipelines.
Strong knowledge of SQL, Python and PySpark.
Databricks experience; certification (Associate/Professional) desirable.
Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (DP-600/DP-700) beneficial.
Good communication and collaboration; team player.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain data models to support analytics and reporting across Core Business Supply.
Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines integrating diverse data sources.
Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, analysts, and data scientists to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
Establish data engineering best practices: data modelling standards, quality, version control, testing, and documentation.
Optimize models and pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost across batch and real-time processing.
Ensure data security, governance, and compliance.
