Job summary

Senior Material Europe is seeking an HVAC Engineer for our Sweden factory to ensure reliable, safe and energy-efficient operation of HVAC and related utility systems. You will participate in daily operations, maintenance, troubleshooting and engineering projects, with scope to grow into independent management of HVAC work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HVAC, Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering, Energy and Power Engineering, or related field.
• Strong fundamentals and a genuine interest in developing technical skills.
• Good English communication skills for an international factory environment.
• Strong sense of responsibility and good communication.
• Ability to work independently on-site and solve technical problems.
• Willingness to hands-on field work.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, maintain and troubleshoot utility systems daily.
• Lead modifications and energy-saving projects for HVAC systems.
• Analyze equipment data to optimize operating conditions.
• Assist with commissioning and acceptance of HVAC upgrades.
• Coordinate external maintenance providers and suppliers.
• Maintain HVAC registers and related technical docs.
• Support other utility disciplines when required.
• Complete tasks assigned by the supervisor.
