Job summary

Lyten seeks a skilled electrician to join the Central Electrical Department, performing high- and medium-voltage distribution maintenance across substations and transformers. You will operate HV/MV systems, execute switching activities, and ensure safety compliance under PTW/LOTO frameworks.

Qualified electricians with A/AL authorisation and HV experience are preferred. English fluency is required; Swedish is a plus.

Qualifications

Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Qualified electrician with recognised electrical education or equivalent Auktorisation A or AL is advantageous.
Experience with HV/MV distribution systems, substations and transformers.
LLow voltage safety procedures and LOTO/Permit-to-Work understanding.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor 145 kV and 33 kV electrical distribution systems.
Perform HV and MV switching activities per procedures.
Execute planned and corrective maintenance on substations, switchgear and transformers.
Troubleshoot faults in the electrical distribution network.
Maintain safety compliance, PTW and LOTO requirements.
Oversee contractors working within HV/MV installations.
Support commissioning and energisation of new assets.
Identify and implement reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
