The opportunity
As the HSE Manager at Power Transformers, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental programs to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. You will drive a culture of safety and environmental stewardship across all operations, minimizing risks and promoting well-being for employees and the community.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Lead, coach, and develop the HSE team while contributing as an active member of the management team, providing strategic HSE leadership and supporting overall business performance.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HSE policies, systems, and procedures in line with global standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Lead risk assessments, hazard identification, incident investigations, and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions to minimize risks and improve workplace safety.
- Drive HSE compliance through audits, inspections, training programs, and close collaboration with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor HSE performance, manage reporting, oversee environmental and emergency preparedness programs, and ensure compliance with new legislation and industry best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement in HSE performance and safety culture, contributing to operational excellence, sustainable business results, and employee well-being.
Your Background
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change across the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 8–10 years of progressive HSE experience, ideally within a multinational manufacturing or technology environment.
- Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and improve HSE systems and programs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders; fluency in English required (additional languages are a plus).
