Job description

Quintus is recruiting an HR & Communications Director to take a key role in enabling the company’s continued transformation and growth.

Quintus is entering a new phase of ambitious international growth. Building on a strong technology position and continued expansion into new applications and markets, the company is preparing to significantly scale its business. This requires not only increased commercial and operational capacity, but also continued development of the organisation, leadership and ways of working required to operate successfully as a larger and increasingly international business.

Reporting to the CEO and as a member of the Executive Management Team, the HR & Communications Director will lead Quintus’ global people and communications agenda. The primary mandate is to ensure that the company has the organisational capability, leadership, competence and cultural conditions required to deliver its strategic ambitions.

The role combines strategic development with broad functional responsibility and operational execution. A central part of the assignment will be to translate Quintus’ growth strategy into pragmatic priorities for organisation, leadership and people, while strengthening alignment and collaboration across functions and geographies. This includes developing leadership and talent capabilities, supporting organisational development and cultural change, and using internal communication to create understanding and engagement around the company’s strategy and priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Define and drive the global HR, people and corporate communications agenda in alignment with Quintus’ business and growth strategy.
  • Lead and develop the HR & Communications function and its international ways of working.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Executive Management Team on organisation, leadership, culture, talent, workforce capability and change.
  • Lead organisational and cultural development towards stronger cross-functional collaboration, accountability, commercial orientation and enterprise-wide thinking.
  • Develop leadership excellence and a systematic approach to performance, talent management, succession and competence development.
  • Ensure the organisational capability, flexibility and critical competence required to support current operations and future growth.
  • Lead corporate communications, with particular emphasis on internal communication and alignment around strategy, priorities and organisational change.
  • Ensure effective HR policies, practices and processes, including relevant compliance, employee relations, compensation governance and EHS responsibilities.

Experience and qualifications:

We are looking for a senior HR leader with a strong track record of developing organisations, leadership and people capabilities in support of business transformation and growth. Relevant experience includes:

  • Senior HR leadership experience with broad functional accountability, preferably within an international industrial, engineering, manufacturing or technology environment.
  • Demonstrated experience of working closely with a CEO and/or senior management team, combining strategic HR leadership with responsibility for an operational people agenda.
  • Track record of supporting significant organisational growth, transformation or increased international complexity.
  • Proven experience of organisational development, leadership development, talent and succession management and performance processes.
  • Experience of developing culture and ways of working across functions and, preferably, different geographies.
  • Broad HR experience including employment relations, HR policies and practices, compensation and relevant employment-related compliance.
  • Experience of corporate and/or internal communications is an advantage.
  • Relevant academic degree, preferably within HR, business or a related field.
  • Fluent English, spoken and written, is a requirement.

The position is based at Quintus Technologies’ headquarters in Västerås, Sweden, with international travel as part of the role.

For the right candidate, this is an opportunity to shape the people and organisational agenda during a defining phase in Quintus’ development – building the leadership, capabilities, culture and organisational foundations required for the company’s next stage of international growth.

Quintus offers an exciting role in a highly technology-driven company, with deep expertise across several advanced technology areas.

Applications will be open until Friday September 18, 2026
