About The Role

Educatius is looking for a Host Family Marketing Specialist to lead marketing and engagement strategies that attract, inspire, and retain host families for our international high school exchange programs across Europe and the UK/Ireland.

You’ll oversee the marketing and coordination that support the recruitment of around 2,000 host families each year, working across countries, brands, and teams to ensure our activities are aligned, efficient, and impactful.

This is a hands‑on, strategic role for someone who is skilled at collaboration, storytelling, and delivering measurable results. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Europe, the UK/Ireland, and the Central Marketing Team – collaborating in multiple markets, languages, and disciplines to build shared plans, tools, and assets that empower local teams to execute effectively while staying aligned with their local brand.

What you’ll do
Retention & engagement
  • Build and execute a year‑round marketing plan to strengthen loyalty among existing host families.
  • Create campaigns that celebrate host families and encourage re‑hosting.
  • Develop referral and ambassador programs that turn experience into advocacy.
  • Use Educatius’ resilience and CSR initiatives to deepen trust and engagement.
Recruitment marketing
  • Plan and coordinate regional campaigns that generate new host family leads.
  • Lead storytelling through social media, newsletters, and webinars.
  • Support local outreach, including events at schools, fairs, and community venues.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and creative assets in collaboration with digital specialists.
  • Use Educatius’ extensive photo, video, and testimonial libraries to strengthen impact.
Planning, coordination & facilitation
  • Coordinate complex marketing efforts across multiple countries, brands, and languages.
  • Facilitate shared planning processes to ensure smooth collaboration between central and local teams.
  • Develop adaptable toolkits, templates, and creative assets for localization.
  • Align marketing timelines and deliverables across regions, ensuring clear communication between stakeholders.
  • Partner with digital, CRM, creative, and regional marketing colleagues to streamline execution.
  • Collect feedback, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
Customer journey & communications
  • Map and refine the host family journey from awareness to re‑hosting.
  • Ensure consistent, high‑quality messaging across web, CRM, and social channels.
  • Maintain alignment with brand standards for all Educatius and local sub‑brands.
What you’ll bring
  • 4–6 years of experience in marketing, ideally in a regional or multi‑country coordination role.
  • Proven success managing marketing initiatives across diverse markets and teams.
  • Strong skills across social media, content creation, email, events, and PR.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho).
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to measure performance.
  • Background in education, cultural exchange, or community marketing preferred.
Who You Are
  • Skilled at navigating complexity and aligning teams across multiple countries.
  • Strategic yet practical – you plan, coordinate, and deliver.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and confident working across brands, cultures, and time zones.
  • Organized and adaptable, with sharp attention to detail.
  • Creative, resourceful, and driven by meaningful outcomes.
  • Passionate about education, cultural exchange, and human connection.
