Job summary

NKT in Karlskrona, Sweden, is seeking an engaged Test Engineer with a technical background in testing or power engineering to help connect customers to a greener world. In the role you will support the global testing program in one of Northern Europe’s largest HV test labs and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cables meet requirements throughout their lifecycle.

You will collaborate with tender and project teams, review test scopes, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering.
• Several years of experience in testing, power engineering or similar technical field.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation, standards and requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience within high voltage or similar industries is a merit.

Responsibilities

• Support Tender and Project Managers with technical input related to testing and feasibility assessments.
• Review and assess test requirements, ITPs and technical documentation to ensure feasibility and compliance.
• Contribute to optimizing and improving testing processes, quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure the right resources for test execution.
