Job summary

STIFTELSEN STOCKHOLM INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL in Stockholm seeks Head of Learning to lead curriculum development, uphold the school’s Mission, Vision and IB alignment, and oversee accreditation processes.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the Educational Leadership Team, manage budgets for curriculum development, drive professional development, support teachers, and engage with external stakeholders to advance internationalism and learning excellence.

Qualifications

• Has a university degree in Education or teaching qualifications.
• Proven leadership experience in a school setting.
• Experience with IB programmes.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to equity and lifelong learning.

Responsibilities

• Promotes learning and internationalism across the school.
• Leads curriculum alignment and revisions.
• Leads Educational Leadership Team meetings.
• Oversees accreditation processes.
• Collaborates with IB programme coordinators and subject leaders.
• Sets yearly curriculum development budget.
• Guides PDSE development and teacher reflection.
• Engages with external stakeholders and Board when needed.
