Job summary

Gilion AB is seeking a Head of IT to lead and evolve our IT infrastructure as we scale. You will own operations, security, hardware and network setup, and ensure reliable access across regional offices.

Reporting to the CTO, you will drive long-term IT strategy, build standardized solutions, and collaborate with engineers, product teams, and founders. This hybrid role offers real ownership and a chance to shape how IT supports fast growth and AI-driven products.

Qualifications

What you'll do

As Head of IT at Gilion, you'll be responsible for supporting, administrating and keeping Gilion's IT infrastructure running smoothly. You'll juggle a wide range of IT issues — from managing hardware and network setup to day-to-day access and device security — finding solutions and being the key person for everything IT-related.

You will be in charge of driving the long term IT strategy and building scalable and standardized solutions across the regional offices.

You'll be part of the tech organization, working closely with the CTO, software engineers, data engineers and designers. It also means working closely with founders, sales, product management and our credit team. Gilion is a profitable, fast-moving company with a culture of ownership and tech enthusiasm — we're small enough that this role touches almost everything.

What we're looking for

• You have a few years of experience as an IT Manager, or in a similar IT operations/support/system administration role, ideally at a company of similar size and stage to Gilion

• You take genuine ownership — if something's broken or missing, you fix it or flag it, no task or responsibility is beneath you

• You love playing around with hardware, automating and configuring things

• You're communicative, curious, and take initiative to find and deliver creative, practical solutions

Nice to have

• A genuine interest in IT security

• Previous experience at a scaleup company
