Zusammenfassung

Abion is seeking a hands-on Head of Group Accounting to lead the accounting and control function across Sweden and the UK. You will own the integrity of financial reporting and build scalable processes to support growth, while reporting to the Group CFO in Gothenburg.

You will drive end-to-end monthly close, consolidations, audits, tax compliance and treasury activities, shaping a high-performing global team and partnering with the CFO on performance and risk management.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of finance experience, including audit or Big Four.
• Leadership experience in Group Accounting or Financial Control within an international, multi-entity business.
• Strong IFRS, consolidation and local GAAP expertise.
• Fluency in English and Swedish is instrumental.

Reporting to the Group CFO in Gothenburg, you will lead the accounting and control team across Sweden and the UK. You will own the integrity of our financial reporting while building efficient, scalable processes for continued growth.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Own Group consolidation, reporting and the end-to-end monthly close.

Who You Are

You combine strong technical accounting expertise with commercial judgement, leadership and a drive to improve. You are comfortable switching between strategic priorities and hands-on delivery in a fast-moving environment.

• Experience from a PE-backed and acquisition-driven environment
• A track record of leading finance transformation, such as ERP, consolidation or close improvements
• Clear, proactive communication and confidence in making difficult decisions
