Sambla Group in Sweden seeks a Chief Credit Officer to lead the new Credit & Deposits area. Based in Stockholm or Malmö, you will shape the credit function and ensure risk is aligned with board risk appetite while supporting sustainable growth.

You will report to senior management, lead the Credit Committee, manage external partners, and drive scalable, customer-focused credit solutions with a culture of accountability and innovation.

Formación

• Academic background in economics, data science, statistics or mathematics.
• At least 10 years of experience in a credit responsibility role, preferably with lending experience in car financing.
• Strong understanding of lending business and scalable, customer-focused credit solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.
• Proactive and change-oriented mindset to improve ways of working.
• Motivation to build new credit capabilities, with curiosity for AI-driven processes.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure credit risk level aligns with defined risk appetite and supports objectives.
• Report on credit losses and risk indicators to senior management and Board.
• Establish and maintain documentation, processes, and systems in credit risk.
• Manage external partners, including credit bureaus and debt collection agencies.
• Chair and convene the Credit Committee.
• Member of the Bank Management Team.
• Foster a positive culture of development, accountability and collaboration.
