Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Project Lead for HW R&D to drive hardware development and maintenance of innovative IED modules. You will ensure schedules, costs, scope, and quality objectives are met while collaborating with development and manufacturing partners.

You will represent the project in governance forums, set objectives with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in lifecycle processes within an agile team environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electronics Engineering with PM qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in industrial and/or energy domains.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English.
• Comfortable working in agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, track, and report scope, schedule, cost, and quality; present progress in Steering Committees and Change Control Boards.
• Build and maintain productive supplier partnerships and foster collaboration.
• Perform effort and cost estimations; schedule work based on resources and dependencies.
• Proactively analyze, document, and mitigate technical and organizational risks.
• Approve key deliverables and hand over results to program or higher-level releases.
• Collaborate with Operations to introduce new modules to the factory.
• Coordinate with Program Managers, HW Systems Engineers, embedded SW Developers, Type Test Engineers, and other PMs.
• Operate in cross-functional teams and represent HW to stakeholders; own development cost, speed, and production quality.
