Job summary

SEGULA Technologies in Södertälje, Sweden, is seeking a hands-on Embedded Engineer to develop and integrate mechatronics, system, and software solutions for civilian and specialized vehicle platforms. Location is Södertälje, Sweden, with 3–5 days on-site, full-time.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Mechatronics or a related field, proven embedded software or system engineering experience, and hands-on work with vehicle functions, electronics, or system integration, plus CAN bus knowledge

Qualifications

Must hold EU work permit or have the right to work in Sweden.
Proven experience in embedded software development or system engineering.
Hands-on experience with vehicle functions, electronics or system integration.
Practical experience with CAN bus communication.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

Participate across the entire chain—from customer requirements and function design to software implementation and system integration.
Develop concepts, build prototypes, and test functionality directly in vehicles and test rigs.
Perform technical deep dives into existing systems, debug complex issues, and ensure solutions are ready for production.
Handle and administer system change requests (CRs) for vehicle architectures.
Work on parallel projects with varying technical scopes in a high-energy, fast-iterating environment.
