Playground Group is seeking a Cloud Architect who combines leadership with hands-on engineering. You will translate business needs into actionable features and sprints, guiding the team from concept to production while mentoring colleagues and maintaining strong collaboration with stakeholders.

You will split your time between hands-on development and leadership, ensuring architecture decisions support scalable, reliable cloud delivery across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Qualifications

• Architectural-level competence with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Infrastructure as Code is essential.
• CI/CD experience with automated deployments.
• Container orchestration proficiency.
• Observability and monitoring tools knowledge.
• Configuration management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Driving the Ship: Lead project delivery from concept to deployment as a Team Lead.
• Translating Tech to Human: Communicate with directors and engineers, bridging gaps between business and tech.
• Managing the Vibe: Lead with autonomy, clarity, and a collaborative, inclusive style.
