Job summary

Catella, headquartered in Stockholm, is seeking a Group Chief Accountant to oversee monthly, quarterly and year-end closes, and to drive the group’s IFRS reporting and annual report. You will lead a small team, coordinate with auditors, and contribute to VAT and corporate taxation aspects.

The role combines operational finance work with strategic development of accounting processes and systems, reporting to the Group CFO and interacting with various entities and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance or accounting.
• Several years of experience in group accounting in international or listed-company environments.
• Experience establishing group accounting processes and implementing systems.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for monthly, quarterly and year-end closes and prepare the annual report and interim reports in accordance with IFRS.
• Lead, coach and develop two to three people within the function.
• Ensure high-quality financial reporting to management and external stakeholders.
• Act as the point of contact for auditors, authorities and other external parties.
• Contribute expertise in VAT and corporate taxation.
