Job summary

Hitachi ABB Power Grids in Västerås is looking for a skilled system engineer to join their Network Control team. You will be responsible for installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of systems, contributing to the project deliveries.

Moreover, you'll have the chance to work in a diverse international environment, providing service to customers globally while also improving internal processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in system administration and scripting languages with fluency in both English and Swedish.

Qualifications

• Experience in installation and administration of both physical and virtual servers.
• Documented experience in working with installation of Network Manager or similar systems.
• A creative mindset with problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of systems.
• Setup system administration and security environments.
• Participate in FAT and SAT and conduct customer training.

Skills

Installation and system administration of Linux and Windows servers

Creation of clear detailed documentation

Fluency in English and Swedish

Understanding of scripting languages

Education

Master’s or bachelor degree in software engineering or equivalent
