Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Västerås is seeking a Project Lead Engineer to drive the Network Manager project within Grid Automation Systems. You will lead a cross-functional team, own the technical solution, and coordinate design with customers in Sweden and abroad.

Based in Västerås, you will oversee factory tests, installation, and system verification while ensuring cybersecurity compliance and continuous improvement of processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the overall technical solution in complex system delivery projects.
• Plan and follow up on all technical activities to ensure smooth execution.
• Lead and motivate a cross-functional project team to deliver high-quality results.
• Collaborate directly with national and/or international customers to define and agree on system design.
• Coordinate onboarding of team members and clarify technical project requirements.
• Oversee key project phases such as factory testing, installation, and final system verification.
• Ensure all technical work complies with cybersecurity standards and ethical guidelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of products and project processes.
