Job summary

Hitachi Vantara Corporation is seeking a System Engineer to support the green Energy transition in Sweden. This role involves installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of systems, ensuring effective delivery in diverse environments.

Ideal candidates will have experience with Linux and Windows servers, a relevant degree, and fluency in both English and Swedish.

Qualifications

• Experience in installation and system administration of Linux and Windows servers.
• Ability to seek information and solve technical problems.
• Experience in setup and configuration of computers and servers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of systems.
• Setup of system administration and security environments.
• Maintain and update project development environment.

Skills

Installation and system administration of Linux and Windows servers

Documented experience with Network Manager or similar SCADA/EMS/DMS

Understanding and writing scripting languages (PowerShell, Linux Shell, Perl, VBS)

Fluency in English and Swedish

Education

Master’s or bachelor degree in software engineering, computer engineering or equivalent
