Hitachi Energy is seeking a Global Product Specialist to join our HVDC Transformer product portfolio. You will bridge customer needs, market opportunities, and cutting-edge technology, acting as a technical expert within your product area.

You will collaborate with R&D, engineering, operations and service teams to enable successful product development and lifecycle management, and support strategic initiatives to grow our global HVDC transformer portfolio.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering or similar.
• Proven experience in R&D, product development or similar.
• Ability to analyze complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Act as technical expert and key contact for assigned HVDC transformer products and solutions.
• Support business development, sales activities, and customer discussions with product expertise.
• Drive product improvements and lifecycle management based on market demands and customer feedback.
