Job summary

Saab, a leading defence and security company, is seeking a Media Relations Coordinator based in Stockholm. You will be part of Saab’s Press Centre, supporting media relations in Sweden and internationally, coordinating activities, research, and monitoring to ensure high-quality output.

The role involves travel and close collaboration with leaders across the organisation. You will manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, international setting, with a strong service mindset and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• University degree in communications, journalism or related field.
• Experience in media relations or press centre environment.
• Strong coordination and project management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support media activities and projects, including events and press visits.
• Support major corporate communication activities and reporting.
• Prepare briefing materials and logistics for media interviews and visits.
• Produce news briefs and media summaries; support media research and monitoring.
• Compile KPIs for the Press Centre and assist in reporting.
• Maintain media lists and distributions in Cision; keep contacts up to date.
• Coordinate Press Centre projects and productions (e.g., annual news film).
• Assist Head of Media Relations with presentations, research and day-to-day activities.
• Maintain structures, checklists, and shared tools, including Teams environment.
• Support production of presentations, media briefs, Q&As and communication materials.
