Job summary
Hitachi Energy Sweden AB is seeking a seasoned Manager and Application Engineer for Power Conversion, Power Quality Industry and Grid Connection. You will collaborate across departments, drive pre-tender activities, and guide technology directions while ensuring safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or power-related field.
- Extensive experience in application engineering, business development or lead engineering for Power Conversion, Power Quality Industry and Grid Connection solutions.
- Experience leading teams, coordinating complex projects, and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Solid understanding of grid codes and their impact on power systems.
- Technical expertise in Grid and Power Quality Solutions and related tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Application Engineers across regions.
- Coordinate business development and pre-tender activities for Power Conversion, Power Quality, and Grid Connection portfolios.
- Engage early with customers to understand needs and opportunities.
- Shape optimized, cost-effective solutions across GPQSS offerings.
- Represent Application Engineering in cross-functional teams for alignment.
