Job summary

ESRANGE in Kiruna, Sweden seeks a Health, Safety and Environmental Officer to integrate into the SSC Space Global Management System. The role involves providing strategic and operational support, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and overseeing HSE initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in HSE management and skills in leadership, communication, and problem-solving. Benefits include health insurance, wellness allowance, and extra leave.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in Health, Safety and Environment management.
• Experience developing, implementing and maintaining management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Experience leading audits, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance programmes related to health, safety and environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain procedures for monitoring applicable environmental, occupational health and safety laws and regulations.
• Define roles and responsibilities related to environment, health and safety.
• Develop, maintain and communicate policies, processes, procedures and training.
