Job summary

Justera Group is seeking a senior Controls Engineer to lead definition, maintenance, and enhancement of best practices within our global Product Engineering team, driving innovation in control systems for intralogistics.

The role requires deep SME knowledge of PLC software and electrical hardware, and the ability to harmonize processes across locations. Travel between Sweden, Germany, and Austria is expected; duration is about 6 months, based in Linköping, Sweden.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical or automation engineering or equivalent.
• Professional experience in similar roles, ideally in logistics automation.
• Collaborative mindset with willingness to learn and improve team performance.
• Solution-oriented with strategic vision and ability to collaborate in international teams.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and ability to inspire others.
• Project and time management skills to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert in control systems (PLC software and electrical hardware).
• Drive harmonization and improvements of product engineering processes across locations for consistency and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Define requirements for product development and tooling
• Mentor and upskill controls engineering colleagues.
• Initiate and drive global projects for harmonization and standardization in controls engineering.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure feedback flows from project realization to product dev.
• Monitor emerging technical trends and align them with company goals.
