Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Sweden seeks a Global Competence Manager for HVDC to lead global competence development, digital learning, and lifelong learning initiatives across the organization.

You will drive strategy, foster collaboration across regions, develop knowledge transfer and internal training content, and ensure HVDC stays ahead on future competence needs.

This role offers visibility within a diverse, multinational team and strong career growth within Hitachi Energy.

Qualifications

• University degree in behaviour science or similar.
• Strong communication, coaching and leadership skills.
• Experience in competence development and/or strategic work.
• Fluency in English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Drive competence development initiatives across HVDC.
• Identify tools and processes to support strategy (digital learning).
• Increase collaboration and share experiences within Hitachi Energy.
• Maintain overview of HVDC competencies and streamline initiatives.
• Stay informed about trends in learning and competence development.

Bring your leadership, strategic mindset, and communicative style, since you will drive the execution of strategic competence development globally within HVDC. With your experience in digital learning, you will also work with and develop methods to reskill and upskill our employees.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Strategically drive and contribute to competence development initiatives across the organization—both those triggered by business needs and those you identify proactively.
• Identify potential tools and processes to support our strategy - such as digital knowledge sharing and development of digital learnin.
• Increase collaboration, create transparency and share experiences within the Hitachi Energy organization.
• Contribute to transfer of knowledge and Internal training content.
• Maintain an overview of the competencies within HVDC and streamline competence development initiatives.
• Continuously develop your area of responsibility and stay informed about future trends in learning and competence development.
• Actively participate in competence-related networks both within Hitachi Energy and externally. Engage in networks relevant to our field and promote global cooperation within HVDC

Your background

• You hold a university degree in behaviour science, or similar degree.
• Balance stakeholders with ease with political savvy.
• Experience within the field of competence development and/or strategic work.
• Strong, well-developed communication, coaching and leadership skills.
• As person you are organized, accurate and with a high change adaptability and strategic thinking.
• Fluency in English – both spoken and written.
