Job summary

Stedings Consulting AB in Malmö seeks an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to turn complex data into reliable, production-ready solutions at scale. You will design, develop and deploy ML models, integrate them into production systems and collaborate with international teams.

The role combines data science with software engineering across NLP, LLMs and geospatial data, requiring hands-on experience and a drive to improve data quality and system reliability.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience developing software in Python.
• Proven experience in machine learning and data science.
• Strong knowledge of ML algorithms (SVM, Random Forest, Naive Bayes, k-NN).
• Hands-on with LLMs, prompt engineering and agent-based workflows.
• Experience taking ML solutions from experimentation to production.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, evaluate and deploy machine learning models.
• Apply ML, NLP and statistical methods to improve data quality.
• Develop solutions for classification, clustering, feature engineering and anomaly detection.
• Work with LLMs and agent-based workflows.
• Build scalable data pipelines and robust software components.
• Integrate models into existing production systems.
• Analyse large datasets to identify patterns and quality issues.
• Own features and improvements from idea to production deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.
