Truecaller is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to lead security across our Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. You will design and implement scalable security architectures, write production-grade code to fix issues, and drive organization-wide risk reduction while mentoring peers.

You will balance strict security with operational velocity, leveraging GCP-native tools and IaC to improve posture and automate security operations for a global platform used by millions.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on experience in a senior security engineering role.
• Proven track record leading technical designs across multiple squads.
• Deep knowledge of securing cloud infrastructure in GCP.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead GCP security designs for cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on remediation: write code, apply configurations, deploy tooling in production.
• Drive systemic risk reduction and improve security posture across the org.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards on advanced security concepts.
• Automate security operations using Python/Go or low-code approaches.
