Job summary

SweGaN AB is seeking an Epi Process Engineer to help ensure stable, efficient epitaxy processes across our production lines. The role blends hands-on operation with data-driven analysis to drive continuous improvements in yield and reliability.

You will work with Process Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams, handling process monitoring, characterization, and documentation while contributing to process development and industrialization of our GaN epitaxy technology.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related technical field; industrial manufacturing understanding.
• Experience in data collection and documentation.
• Systematic, structured troubleshooting approach.
• Hands-on with advanced manufacturing equipment.
• Good English written and spoken.
• Good computer skills and ERP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, evaluate, and improve epitaxy processes for stability and quality.
• Collect and interpret process data including in-situ measurements.
• Characterize materials using relevant equipment.
• Maintain qualifications to operate epitaxy reactors and inline equipment.
• Investigate deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and R&D.
