Job summary

Avalanche Studios Group is seeking a driven Business Controller to support game development projects with financial planning, analysis and forecasting. You will lead profitability analysis for units and live services, manage monthly closes, and build dashboards for key metrics.

In Stockholm on a hybrid model, you will collaborate with the Finance, Data Insights and Product teams to improve processes, automate reporting, and drive financial performance.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in finance or accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business controlling, preferably in game development.
• Strong data skills and ability to summarize large data sets; SQL is a merit.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for management reviews.
• Ability to handle pressure during monthly close and forecasts.
• Team player with ability to build relationships.
• Interest in games and openness to AI tool improvements.
• Fluent in English; Swedish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Profitability analysis of business units, development projects and live services.
• Own financial planning, monthly follow-up and reporting.
• Support stakeholders in interpreting results and driving targets.
• Monitor KPIs and provide insights to drive profitability and productivity.
• Collaborate with Data Insights and Product teams on reports from daily sales data.
• Develop dashboards to expose data to stakeholders.
• Support closing, group reporting and audit processes.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and business cases.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
