Job summary

Netlight is seeking a Gaming Consultant in Sweden to design and work on cutting-edge game development and related systems. You will collaborate with clients, mentors, and cross-functional teams to shape projects and grow technical skills.

The ideal candidate holds a Master in Engineering, has strong C++ and Unreal Engine experience, and a passion for gaming. English fluency and 0.5–6 years IT experience are required; proven deliveries are valued.

What does it mean to be a Gaming Consultant at Netlight?

It will vary a lot between Netlighters as we, around the right person, will design a role together with you. You will be starting somewhere familiar. For example, are you passionate about Game development? Immersive simulations? System development? Low-level programming? Nonetheless, you will build the games, products, systems and technical solutions of today and tomorrow. This includes collaborating with clients on cutting-edge projects to help build and scale existing and new products and companies, while continuously learning and mastering a variety of technical tools. Our projects are in fields such as Game Development, Backend Development, System Development, Cloud, Mobile Development, Architecture, DevOps, and more.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master Degree in Engineering or Technology
• Verbal and written fluency in English
• 0.5–6 years of work experience related to IT

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong skills and experience in C++ development
• Professional or personal experience with Unreal Engine
• Professional or personal experience in the gaming industry
• Proven track record from previous positions (e.g., recognized achievements & deliveries)
