Karolinska Institutet invites applications for a fully-funded PhD position in Onur Dagliyan’s Group at the division of Molecular Neurobiology. The project aims to uncover experience-driven protein signaling mechanisms in the mouse brain using engineered proteins and new techniques.

The successful candidate will design experiments, perform experiments, analyze data, and contribute to publications. The position is a doctoral studentship with a contractual salary and access to university facilities

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in biological/biomedical sciences.
  • Experience with electrophysiological techniques desirable.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead experimental design, data collection, analysis and presentation of results.
  • Collaborate with collaborating laboratories to learn and apply new techniques.
  • Carry out research on engineered proteins to study neuronal circuits in the mouse brain.
